FAQs -
OUR PRODUCE

  • Look — you’re grown-up enough to be buying local organic produce, so we trust you can make the right call here. Prefer a vinegar soak? Go for it. Love your store bought veg wash? You do you.

We don’t put any coating on anything we grow — no wax, no spray, nothing weird.

We do recommend giving everything a quick rinse before eating, just to be safe. While we take great care in growing and handling everything, washing helps remove any lingering dirt.

Some of us who couldn’t wait to try the newest head of lettuce have learned the hard way what dirt grit in your teeth feels like. Just saying. Do not recommend.

For our bagged baby greens, They’re triple washed, so no need to wash them again! In fact, they’ll likely stay fresher if you leave them just as they are.
    But again... you do you.

  • All of our bagged baby greens are triple washed, so please don’t! I mean again, you do you, but there is no need to re-wash these.

  • Every season’s a little different — sometimes strawberries show up in December, other times not until February. Nature does her thing!

  • Absolutely not. We do not use apeel, nor any sort of coating for that matter, on any of our produce and have no plans of ever doing so.

  • We’re so glad you asked! :) Ok, ok…you didn’t, and the longevity of our produce may surprise you, but we don’t want to gatekeep and we need you to enjoy our produce at it’s best.Scroll down just a bit or click here for some helpful tips!
