FARM BOXES

  • Traditionally, CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a way for local farmers and members to support each other. Members receive fresh, harvests of pre-selected produce for the week while farmers get steady financial support. This helps reduce food waste, promotes food security, preserves farmland, and boosts biodiversity.

We have transformed our CSA into a more flexible, fully customizable Farm Box subscription! Blue Sky’s 100% Certified Organic produce is known for its quality – it doesn’t get better than this!

  • The Farm Box is an online subscription offering organic produce in either a Classic (6-7 items) or Petite (4-5 items) box, that can be set up on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. With our new Farm Box program, you can customize the box by removing or adding items.

After creating an account, you select your subscription, preferred pick-up location, box size, and delivery frequency (weekly or bi-weekly). Once you proceed to checkout to place your first order, we will confirm your subscription, which will then auto-renew based on your chosen frequency.

  • Click here for a full list of our locations.

  • Just pick up your box at your chosen location during the allotted day & time! Pickup details may vary slightly by location, but each location has a sign-in sheet with your list of items. Depending on your add-on items, you may have a second or third bag with your main farm box order.

You are responsible for picking up your Farm Box during the provided pick up day and time. We will not provide credit for un-collected boxes.

We do need to mention, our order site is not as intuitive as we’d like, but we have created a little tutorial on how to subscribe and you can find it here!

  • On Friday mornings, you can view your farm box contents for the following week. Simply log in to your account, go to the overview page, and check under "Current Shopping Period Overview."

  • You sure can. The best time to shop is after 11:05 am on Fridays, when we update our system for the following week. This is especially important for popular add-ons, which may have limited quantities. You can find all items under "Product List" and filter them as needed. Be sure to finalize any changes to your box by the 8 am deadline, two days before your delivery.

*If you have a bi-weekly subscription, add-ons must be made the Friday before your delivery week, or they won’t be linked to your box. Make sure to select the correct shopping period for your delivery date. You’ll see if it’s a bi-weekly week at the top of your overview page.

Note: Noble Bread is separate from our other produce/grocery add-on items.

  • If you have a weekly subscription, you will receive a box every week. If you selected a Bi-Weekly Farm Box Subscription, when you login to your account, on the overview page under, "Current Shopping Period Overview," you'll find a notification saying whether or not it is currently a Bi-Weekly week.

You can also select "Subscriptions" from the left-hand menu and then click on the name of your subscription. This will provide you a summary of your subscription.

  • Yes, just contact our coordinator at csa@blueskyorganicfarms.com to change location, frequency, or size, no later than the order deadline (8am, 2 days before your scheduled delivery).

Changes will go into effect the following week.

  • Our system doesn’t charge immediately. Orders are processed after the order deadline, so you can edit your order up until that time. Just make sure you're done editing by 8am, 2 days before your delivery.

  • Yes, either option must be done in advance.

To hold your box, log in and select "Subscriptions" to set your dates. Holds must be made 11 days before the pick-up date.

If after that, cancel your order through the "Overview" section in your account. Cancelling is possible until the order deadline. Under your delivery date, you'll select "View Order." From there, you can choose to cancel that one box order. This does not cancel your subscription.

Once your order deadline passes (8am, 2 days before your delivery), you can no longer cancel that week's box order and you are responsible for payment and pickup. Boxes that are not picked up will be donated to Saint Mary's Food Bank.

The Farm will not be responsible for placing Farm Boxes on Hold. This action must be completed by the subscriber. However, if you are having difficulty completing this action please contact us as soon as possible.

  • You are responsible for picking up your Farm Box during the provided pick up day and time. Missed pickups will be donated to St. Mary's Food Bank.

If your pick up location is a third party business/organization, they are not responsible for storing your Farm Box. Most third party locations will donate unclaimed Farm Boxes. They may hold onto your Farm Box, but we are not responsible for their storage conditions and your produce may not be stored properly, resulting in less-than-stellar veggies.

There are no refunds, credits, or exchanges for unclaimed Farm Boxes.

  • If circumstances require canceling, contact the Farm Box Coordinator at (623) 853-9174 or email CSA@blueskyorganicfarms.com. Cancellation requests must be received before the order deadline of your next delivery. For example, if you’re scheduled to receive a Farm Box on Saturday, you must contact us by 8am on the Thursday prior.

If received after, the cancellation will apply the following week.

There are no refunds, credits, or exchanges for unclaimed boxes (aka boxes that were not picked up within the allotted pick up time and pick up location).

Thank you, for abiding by this policy and working as a community to create an efficient and pleasant Farm Box experience!
